I have a 1950 Chev 1 ton pickup and want to install a TCI Mustang II IFS. Does anyone know if the 1/2 ton version will fit my truck?
If I remember correctly, the front frame dimensions are the same as the 1/2 ton. Like the 3/4 t trucks, the frame angles back until you hit the cab mounts, then continues back parallel the rest of the way, instead of continuing the angle like the 1/2 ton. I used a Fatman M2 setup, goes on easily. Box your frame at least to the firewall, but I reccommend doing the whole frame.....you would be amazed how much that frame flexes.
