How do you tell by looking at a Dana 60 what gears could be inside? I am doing 3000 RPM @ 55 MPH with 30" tires and it's getting on my nerves! My truck has had a later model leaf spring diff put in it. Can someone id this rear if I get some #'s off it?

i can't tell by looking. try jacking up the back end and turning the drive shaft and counting the tire rotation. that will give you a rough estimate.

I'm willing to guess you have 4:11 rear or taller maybe 4:88s.... try this link http://www.4lo.com/ it will help confirm the gears......
