Ok, I am on my second set of hoses I got from our sponsor. The new set is a gusher! To say I am pissed is an understatement. In just a few seconds of running the engine I gushed out a half quart or more oil onto my floor. It is leaking at the swivel. In another post Nate said if it leaks at the swivel then the hose is bad. Anyone else have issues with the hoses? Does NAPA carry them? Can I just get the swivels anywhere?

Cochran, here's what you do. Take the hoses and go to your local Napa jobber and tell them that you want them to build you the hoses. They have the parts and the expertise. Then calmly tell our host that you want your money back and that they really need to consider who they are getting their hose assemblies from and they need to consider going to another vendor or quit selling them. CP is very good when it comes to customer satisfaction. I know that they will bend over backwards to help. Unfortunately, they are at the mercy of Chinamerica. I'm going to stop now before I go on a rant about repops! Good luck on the hoses!

Thanks Ken, I think that's what I will do. Unfortunately the truck and my motorcycle are my only modes of transportation and I needed the truck to do some hauling. I just plugged the holes for now, do the running I need to do and get the canister put back on ASAP.

    Cochran,

Check with Nate, but I think you will need to put a bypass tube between the two ports. I don't think you can just plug them without serious consequences.

It's OK to run it that way

They came from the factory with plugs in them so that one could install an oil filter if he/she so desired.

Classic Parts called and said there was a problem with these. They have not had this issue before they said. Looks like it was a simple mistake and they got me all squared away. I will be installing later tonight. Thanks again guys.
