It looks great. It also has lots of potential. I'll have to post some pics of my recent '59 acquisition. Fleetside big window.
Thxs -Hope to see yours soon! $3.5K base price and another 1K to fix all the problems on the road back to Oregon. Broke down 5 times on me and once I could not fix it myself. After that ran like the wind. Powerglides at 68-70 the clear sweet-spot. Some sort of 90' clip up front - Maybe from a Buick, the column is definitely Buick. The motor is definitely a 94' 3.1L V6 from a Camaro - I crossed the plugs. 700R4 with a Camaro rear-end and nice overall rake to the frame. A true bucket of bolts other than that - Lot's of rust with a shabby and completely stock interior and trashed bed. I found someone to pull out the rust and replace it with bondo for $2K and 3 cases of bud. Had to, everyone else came in a $7K or greater to get it to hold a paint job, which is way too much for my budget and this daily driver. I also did not want to give it up for a minimum of 2 months. My goal is to hold my over all cost to around 10K and also be able to give the interior and engine well some tender care. I have all new Chrome all the way around, so she'll end up being a Perfect 20 - From 20 feet away it will look great......The gas tank is kind of cheesed into the back and cannot take a full flow, but I am driving a Chevy again...........Smile!
I think that the wheels look great. Someone converted the truck to 5 lugs all around. That isn't cheap to do. All in all I'd say you've got yourself a nice truck. I can totally relate to not being able to afford the 7k paint.
