AS far as I know, the 60-63's are all the same & interchangeable. Those years are particularly expensive in the aftermarket, so if you found a good one you better grab it!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jan-04-02 AT 00:32 AM (CST)]I agree with chevroletC10 that the 60-63 are pretty much the same. I got a 61 and i'm useing 60 parts. In fact I think the frame is a 60. Thats how I got it from the guy who owned it before me he was going to restore it. It sat around for 5 years all tore apart to be rebuilt.

I have been told that the 60 thru 63 windshields are the same in the Chevys and GMC's. I ran across an old windshield catalog that suggested that windshields from 59 Chevrolet and 60 model Cadillac cars are the same as the trucks. At least they had the same part number, it doesn't seem like they would be the same but they are wrap around windshields. Has anyone else heard of this?

The windshield will fit. I ended up buying a whole 61 for 250 bucks just to pull the windshield out to put in my 62. Kinda sucks, since the one that was in my truck was a blue tinted one that costs 750. But good luck!}>

Thanks for the reply, and your right ! Two Years ago we could have gotten the same windshield for around $250. oh well ! I've had three people try and buy the 60 chevy from me while my 62 is still in paint . I've completed the head work ,but now I'm having the block vated and bored 0.06 seems like alot to me but the mechine shop says it's OK. the cylinder walls where tapered running from 0.025 at the top to 0.02 at the bottom.. Good Luck with your project...Tell me about yours and maybe it will give me some ideals , Thanks LostinAl35986:)
