i decided to install a unilite distributor in my 1961 c-10.. after the module came defective and reading more posts online i decided to go back to the old system. Now i find myself struggling to remember how all the wires were connected.

if anyone could straighten me out i would appreciate it.

    disregard - all running!

Mallory distributors are very sensitive to any voltage surges. They sell a filter for this problem. A bad voltage regulator fried my module about a year ago. I had an OEM regulator and it got out of adjustment. If you are still using a mechanical type regulator the replace it with a solid state type. I'm now using a filter and it's running strong. Stick with the Unilite you won't be disapointed.
