    disc brakes

Our vendor sells front disc brake conversions for these trucks. I used the on for 5 lug wheels. It uses 70's camaro brakes, mounted on custom adapters to fit the stock spindles. You will need to modify the brake lines, and probably want to add a power brake booster, and master cylinder. It will stop well. They also have a 6 lug setup too. Good luck....Mike

    Here you go...

Ron, here is a really good article about using our host's disc brake setup. You need to scroll down a ways, but it should give you a good idea about what to expect. (You'll need to go to "Front Suspension" link)

BTW~ WOW! What a beautiful rig!!! I love all the roll-out glass your trailer has! Can't wait to see the looks you get when you roll into a camp ground with that!:D

You can also buy the adapters for the brake setup, and supply your own parts. That is what I did. I had a way to buy remanufactured calipers, etc cheap. If you have any way to do that, you may be able to save a bit. Just a thought.....Mike
