What would the best cam to put in a mild 235. I may be looking at 2 carbs and a split factory manifold. Any tried and true combos that anyone knows of?
It is supposed to be a 55 1st series engine, rebuilt, then never driven . Sat in a garage for 5-7 years when he decided to sell the whole project. May score it and the trans. and open driveline for the 53.

    WhatYou Need :

The cam shaft from a 1962 C-50 chevy with 261 InLine 6 cylinder engine .

Avoid those " Hot Rod " ams as they screw up the idle and off line power .

Try to get a new one , not a re-grind , same with the lifters .

of course , you know not to use hydraulic lifters in any 235 .
