No hucks on that baby! Nate, I figured you would have picked up on the fact that the truck had side vent window, making it at least a '51. '51 was the first year for Bendix brakes on AD's.

Dude! It's a Chevy vs. GMC thing! That's because you don't know any better! Nate does! I'm sure he had his reasons! Now, let's critique your observations, or should I say, lack thereof. First off, the Indian head is Chief Pontiac, which, by the way, proudly anchored the GMC part of the line for several decades! The wrecker I posted is an early AD Jimmy wrecker, albiet with Art Deco rear fenders. Probably a retro-fit at the Pontiac-GMC dealership that it is pictured in front of (which, btw, is still in business in Mareitta, Ga). Zig, more abuse to follow!
