I know this is a very generalized question, but how much is a cab with doors, glass, etc worth? I found a person selling a truck without an engine or tans for $1000. He said the doors are rusted in the corners, but are straight. I don't need the whole truck, but my cab needs patches in the floorpans, a roofskin\headliner, and both doors. He has agreed to sell just the cab, and is asking me to make an offer. I only have his word to go on as far as the condition, but I mostly just want it for the roof and doors.

What is a good range of prices depending on the condition of the cab, and what damage should I look out for that would be a dealbreaker?

    He seems anxious to sell...

    Pics of cab

Here are some pics, what do you think its worth?..based on the pics. I think my cab overall is in better shape, and mine is a large rear window, but would you buy it for the doors and roof (if you needed a roof and doors) based on these pics? If so, how much do you think its worth?

I only posted a pic of one side, but both sides look to be in the same condition with rust in the same area.

Thanks in advance for any input

    A fair price

I think that $500 would be a fair price
but be sure to check the front and rear floor braces with
a Ice pick or something sharpe to make sure they are solid
otherwise you have as much money in that cab when it is fixed
as the one you already have

also Check the cab corners the area above the doors
and around the front windshield the foot wells the areas
hidden by the air boxes and the roof panel my roof panel
looked good till it wa sand blasted and all the pin holes
    showed up

mice love these old trucks too and is usually the cause for the
rusted roof panels because they build nest in between
the inner and outer panels in the roof and thus creating
the material to hold condensation to assist the rust

if your still interested in that inner panel let me know

Thanks for all your help guys, I had no idea what it would be worth and didn't want to get screwed. I emailed him an offer and if he rejects it I'll buy the interior piece from you (65 Custom).

Just by looking at the pics I wouldn't give anything for that cab. There is rust going down the pilliars, rust on the doors and I would have to bet the floor is pretty rusty in the places you need the most. If you do buy that cab check it with a light magnet like a cheap card type magnet you get from Domino's. If it don't stick it's bondo.

I saw that rust too, my cab isn't that bad, and my roof patch seems to be holding up alright, so I think I'll try to make what I have work.
