Has anyone ever relocated their parking brake lever to the floor? I know this sounds sacrilegious, but I hate hitting my hand on it when I am rolling my window up. Or can you adjust the cable so it doesn't pull up as far?

I thought about relocating mine to the floor since I have bucket seats and it would be easier on my chronic back pain to operate, rather than leaning over to reach the stock e-brake. But instead I got a chrome stock handle which looked too cool so I left it in place.

And yes, you can adjust the cables to shorten how high the handle pulls out. I ripped my left thumb nail a couple times before I decided to figure out a better way. You may or may not need to replace saggy cables if they are original. If you don't have self-adjusting brakes, make sure your rear brakes are adjusted correctly before adjusting the e-brake cables, or the e-brake can cause the brakes to drag after they are adjusted.

I'll try to adjust it first since it needs adjusting anyways; rolls when in neutral and on a slope.
