Does anyone have a reference for where to place the hood side emblems on a '51 Chevy? I suspect I have a donor hood. It has the mounting bracket for the "CHEVROLET" emblem, but there aren't even any holes for the "3100". I can drill the holes if I know exactly where they are supposed to go.

Once again, the Fact. Assm. Manual is more for the '54-'55-1. Even the "official" Chevy restoration guide is no help.

A close up photo would help.

Greg, the "3100" emblem is spaced approximately 3/4" below the "Chevrolet" emblem. I've got you a couple of pics, but cannot get them loaded. I think my computer is about ready to crap out on me. If I get them loaded, I'll post them.
