I have a 1971 GMC and was wondering if you can pull out the actually whole dash. I noticed 3 bolts on each side of the inner dash and took them out and was able to pull the bottom of it out a bit but it seems to be attached up under the rubber of the front windshield. Can this be taken out without cutting it out? I would like to get a framed dash that already has the holes cut out on each lower side for the A/C vents. Has anybody ever done this or is it just easier to cut the holes out for the A/C vents, and if so is there any easy way to mark them out so they are in the same spots on each side? Thx for the help in advance.
