Took number one son for his learner's permit on Thursday. When we got home he finally got to drive the truck he has been working on for the last three years on the road. The picture isn't too clear as my hands were shaking from fear :D. It was a great day and one I am certain he will remember forever.

    Good for you, Andy!

I'm sure it is something you BOTH will remember! FOREVER!;)

So now he can start hauling the music equipment to the gigs you guys are playing, right?

If you're a tech type, maybe you could post a video of (a) drive???

You know when he gets his actual driver's license, you'll never see that truck again...:D

That is a great moment for both of you, congrats. I know he will truly cherish the truck he has put those hours into.

First drive when things happens as they should not have.

    Hey Andy

Thanks fore this nice contribution. It is something to remember right? Want to tell about a a scenery thats parents dont like to much , but in this case things went well .As we have a farm in Norway i remember my sons first truck driving experience whas when he became ten years old. He actually had taken the old truck impulsively without hour permit and drove it through the forrest and the fields out here. Surprize , we hoocked him in a again after some hours and learned him to drive under controlled conditions on the farm roads after that episode. Now he is 22 and loves to drive the "old reddish" when possable. Wish your son all the best.

    Thank you Martinius
