Just wondering how is the window mech and regualtor removed? I thought the mustang was a pain.
After 30 minutes of trying to get my arm unstuck ..the wife was ready to fire up the plasma cutter and make it really easy.

My original condition was this. The front roller was off the window slide bar. I removed the two screws and reattached the front roller. I also bolted the regualtor and the big half gear back to the door. Zip ties had been used to keep it up. The regualtor just free wheels. The window is stuck half way up and will not go down with assitance or force.

There should be three rivets under the door panel holding the regulator up. Drill them out and drop the glass all the way down. Then remove the window vent. This might give you enough room to slide the roller off the track and remove the window.

The wing vent window MUST be removed to get the window in or out.

My window has two screws located on the channel that the rollers slide on.
I did manage to get the rollers back on this slider. I unscrewed them and worked some magic. Reassembled But the window regulator gear. The big 1/4 gear seems locked up. The hand crank is just free wheeling.
So where are these rivets? Are they at the bottom of the door?

One thing I hate worse than a automatic is a window that will not roll up.

I found a good donor door. Still debating on using it or not BUT I did remove the regulator.

Amazing even with 4 stitches in my left (stupid hose clamp) I still managed to install the window crank and regulator and reattach the window....In 30 minutes.
The wife just chuckled and said" now we really have 2/60 air!"
