67 Suburban motor swap

    Anyone have any information on swapping a Duramax/Allison into a 67 Burb. Any information would be great!:7

    please tell me this is a brand new 6.6 with the 6 speed allison!

    keep it totally sleeper on the outside (except for good brakes, sway bar, etc) and make sure you are running nothing more aggressive than 3.73 gears as diesels don't like to turn high rpms. you will have TONS of towing power and probably hit 20mpg if you don't put your foot into it too bad. you could buy or build a refinery and make your own fuel from used cooking oil and run your truck cheap when the weather is warm.
