I have a 1966 GMC 3/4 ton pickup that I have just aquired. The wheels meassure 203/8 across and the delapidated tires that are on it read 8-19.5 . I don't know if these are original wheels and I don't know if I can find tires to fit them. I however have a set of 16's on another truck, both are of course 8 bolt wheels but I am wondering if the 16 wheels will fit. Both trucks are immobile and are different locations, otherwise I would just do the obvious and swap wheels. Is there someone who can save me a lot of time and tell me if this wheel swap will work? If not I am going to be needing to firnd some 19.5 tires. By the way the 16's are on a 1976 Chevy 3/4 ton pickup. Thanks for the help!!!:)

I have another question about the 16 in wheels that I did not ask earlier. Will GMC hubcaps from the 40's and 50's fit the newer wheels?
