I got all the wiring for all of the lights working correctly on my 66 K10 with the exception of the front marker lights.I am not sure if these lamps should be on at all times or not. Dual filament bulbs indicate that they should. They come on when the headlight switch is pulled halfway out,and the turn signals work fine. But when I turn the headlights on, the marker lights go out although the turn signals work properly. Perhaps this is normal for this vehicle, and I am trying to fix something that is not broken?
The park lights will go out when the headlights come on.It was standard on all GM vehicles of that year.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jul-11-02 AT 11:36 AM (CST)]Hi Jaybird, Check this site out. Shows how to rewire (at the headlight switch) a jumper that will leave the parking lights on after the headlights have been turned on. It's for a GMC but should be the same circuit wise. http://www.favorites.com/~jolly/parklamp6063.htm Dennis
