I've got a 63 fleetside, 6cyl, and I can't get the drums off my front brakes.

    Any advice ?

I'l drink a beer or two while I wait for you guys to answer.

I ran into this on my 65. It turns out that the drums are riveted on!!! Those three "guide pins" are actually rivets! I chiseled/drilled mine out and voila! The new drums weren't even drilled for them anyhow so I just ground everything down smooth. Dangdest thing I've ever heard though..... ;)
