while overhauling my 230 motor, I noticed a groove in the harmonic balancer. I notice that CHEVYDUTY sells a repair ring for this problem. Is this a good fix? What's best: repair? replace? ignore? Thanks for any advice.
If your talking abouth a grove on the sleeve that slides onto the the crank the REPAIR. I overlooked mine at rebuild and leaked oil bad until I put a sleeve on it. You can get the sleeve at any automotive store and not wait for shipping. Sir50r
