looking at my 55 1st series chevy the oil filter wasnt conected to the engine and notice a what looked like a valve on the lower part of the engine with oil in it and some dripping on the ground ...does it conect there by a hose if so where do i get one or where and how do conect the filter to on the engine??
You can get the two hoses from CP, they're part 84-151. And, for the hook up itself, take a look at the thread 'Cannister Oil Filter Hookup' back from February last year. There's a real clear photo there from Greg of how they go.
