tires for chevrolet pick up 1951

    I just bought a chevrolet pick up 1951. It comes with a 6.50-16 size tires, and i am guessing what should be the original right size for this truck in order to find the equivalent in modern radial tires with white wall. My intention is to keep the original stock height of the truck.

    I will appreciate any information regarding this matter

    LT215/85R16 are pretty close. Not sure if they are available in whitewalls though.

    Yes they're available ! :)

    Look at my old posts about tires , I use Diamondback Classics , good tire , they're still standing up to rough Commercial Service .

    Money well spent IMO .
