I am in the process of rebuilding my front suspension and changing over to front drop spindles for disc brakes on my 63 1/2 ton pickup.
My question has to do with camber/caster. I know with the drop spindles the proper geometry is already manufactured into it. However, if I was to use 1.5-2.5 inch drop springs in addition to the spindles for an overall front drop of 4 inches or so, would the front camber/caster need to be readjusted? And if so, would there be a camber kit my alignment shop could install to correct it? I don't want to be replacing my front tires every 2 months because this is my daily driver (300-350 miles/week).

    Hi six three,

Quick answer, YES. As a matter of fact, YES for any, (springs, ball joints, etc),changes made to the front suspension, especially the spindle swap.

It is not too terribly expensive and just a good way to achieve peace of mind and extended tire wear.
