For those who have been on this list a long time (back when it was an email only), I have decided to finish up the restoration on my old truck. I was a part of the old list and enjoyed chatting about these 60-66 GMCs and would like to start that up again. Attached are a couple pictures of my truck. Here are a list of my near future "plans": 1. Change the gear in the Dana 60 rearend or get a GM 9.5" 14 bolt with a lower ratio (most likely 3.23 or 3.42) 2. Update the front spindles and put newer truck calipers and rotors. 3. Swap out the original "Camper Special" springs with normal or drop leafs. 4. Put aluminum rims and tires instead of the original 15" split-rim wheels and original GMC hubcaps. I will most likely be asking for technical advice on the suspension and braking projects. I will try and provide any insight on can on what I have already done (I've had this truck for over 10 years since I was 15 years old - long time hobby!) Now I have money to finish this bad boy off.
