I picked this one up a few weeks ago here in town. Well really the wife did, she has been looking at them for a while now. I really haven't done a lot to it to many irons in the fire right now. But I have been getting together the parts for it. Colettesbro here on the forum has been a big help on geting a lot of the parts (great fella to deal with) it has the original 235 with the 3 speed tranny. I believe the old truck was bought as a farm truck because it didn't come with many options. The old truck was originally from Atlanta Ga., went to Montgomery then eneded up here in Weaver Alabama I was debating on putting a V8 with a automatic in it but figured I would keep it original and classic. The old motor runs pretty good considering it's running on only five pistons. I found a bearing cap and main bearing in the bottom of the oil pan the other day while checking the oil pump. But heck I figured I would just put new rod and main bearings in it and see what happens. Anyway the old truck is kinda ugly right now but the cab is solid with a good floor board. Hopefully I will get it looking half way right. I find it kind of strange though, you would figure there would be a lot of the old parts trucks around here in the south. But I haven't really been able to come across any half way good ones that wern't rusted slap though.
