What to put in the "extra" spaces in the instrument cluster?

I'm looking for some ideas of things to put on either side of the instrument cluster. I know the tach goes in the right side (if I can ever find one), but what about the left side?

I was thinking about trying to find a clock, compass or thermometer that would fit in there.

Anyone have any suggestions?

that's a pretty cool idea, but they are about as hard to find as a tachometer...right?
