Has anyone out there tried Removall from Napier Products ? (Check out their site...www.removall.com I saw their ad in "This Old House" and it is used on airplanes and cars as well.. sure beats sanding...
I use a product called Aircraft Remover, I'm using it right now as a matter of fact. I just stripped the drivers door down and I'm about to start the body work on it. I only had to use one coat to get all the paint off. Works great! '66 C10 Fleetside LWB 350/350
I'm not familiar with the products you talked about here, but I've used strippers before. I'd have to say be very carefull in the areas you know have bondo. The stripper will soften it, and you'll end up digging into it. My best suggestion would be to use a good DA sander and get a few rolls of various grit paper. Don't neglect your sanding block either! Good luck! Regards, Arizona64}>
I'm taking everything down to bare metal so I'm not worried about the existing bondo. That stripper is some real powerful stuff though and yes, it will soften bondo. '66 C10 Fleetside LWB 350/350
Must be some good stuff. I have a '66 LWB as well and finally about 80% done stripping. I've used various strippers and sanders and I think the sanding was the less time consuming. I got four layers of paint and the BEST stuff I could find still took at least 3 apps. to get down to metal.
Mine has the original paint so it's a lot easier. I use some stuff called aircraft stripper. I got it from autozone. '66 C10 Fleetside LWB 350/350
