    This truck was my Dads and was his pride and joy.So to say this project was a labor of love is an understatement.I enjoyed this project and proud to share these pictures with all of you.The help and the suggestions from this forum are greatly appreciated. I still have a few things to do,sound system,and head liner and I will add those pictures later. Enjoy the pics. Bobby

    That sir is a great looking truck. Well done.

    Would you happen to have any additional pics of the the Battery box or maybe could explain a little more how you built that? Very slick.

    He'll be riding Shotgun every where you go in this truck .

    I hope my boy will take care of my old '49 shop truck when I'm gone .

    Thanks.The AC is from Old Air Inc. out of Texas.Good customer service sold me on there product.

    Thanks.Yes i did. I have access to a shear and brake. Welded together.then used nut-serts and cap screws to bolt it to the floor..Even though the carpet edges were serge , i just didn't want the carpet to catch your feet when you get in the truck.
