I bought a project that someone got tired of. it appears that there was some sort of "kit" used on a camaro/ nova 10 bolt rear.
it has a mustang II type front, healtyh 350 with a th 400, , rear gears will be 342 posi.

my question is, what would be better... both shocks mounted to the front of the axle or staggered, one front and one rear?
I never built a truck before, but know that 67 camaros have wheel hop issues and have both shocks mounted forward, 68 and up uses a staggered system, but it looks like this kit was made to mount both forward.
    thanks.
looking closer , it looks like the front spring mount was moved to the rear, which is about 2" shorter to lower the truck..

Many factory setups use staggered shock mounts. It is fine, unless you just want to move them. Just make shure they are even when you mount them.
