Frame switch

I have a 66 3/4 ton pickup 2wheel drive. My question is will my cab, front, and bed fit on a 1979 1/2 ton frame. Thanks for your help

With enough effort skill and fabrication?? Anything can be made to fit.....

 

yes it will work..ive changed my 66 1/2 ton pu to a 78 1/2 ton pu frame..the only mods were the cab mounts and the front mounts near the bumber...other than that everything else fit fine...and it would be to your advantage to find a frame with the gas tank between the frame rails. it makes things easier.
