Pump issue? Thanks fore the pics flashlight. Hope you did`nt got to stiff in your back after crawling under these stairs. Is that pump a Saginaw pump that you can seprate from the generator ? Do you have an modell name or number to it? If so i have an overhauled 12 volts Remy Delco generator from a 1955 Belair, and could try to by me a pump later on if it is posseble to connect it easely? Of course you are right in some ways,....but the 57' Cadillac still looks quite young to me at 54 years old. Also, the breasts in front of the Cadillac are quite firm as well...with no sags anywhere. Oh-Oh I must go SWMBO is coming and likes to look at what I write over my shoulder! Flashlight
Martinius, It appears the rear casted part of the generator is different from the single unit generator. It has casted flanges for the hydralic unit to bolt on to the rear of the generator housing. It has no tags except the red oval shaped Delco-Remy tag. It says it is the 12 volt model, but nothing else except the serial number.
Here's a picture of one on a venders table at a swap meet. I think the $275 asking price is a bit high but maybe not if it has been gone through; I didn't ask.
