Electric choke plug

    Anybody have a parts truck that still has the plug for the electric choke.My is broke and I'm in need of one.Mine is a 86.Don't know what all years are the same.

    Try Napa or GM Dealer parts. Or any other place that sells or can get Standard Wiring & Connectors or Gates Wiring & Connectors.

    Standard part # is S-582 This should be the one on the side on factory carb 82-96 chev all so other list GM"S below. Your wire might be green or black
    the comes gray with gray connector.

    Buick ............96-93, 91-82
    Cadillac .........88-84
    Oldsmobile......95, 91-82
    Pontiac..........90-82

    I've searched and searched for Standard and Gates Wiring and Connectors and have not found anything.Where did you get this part#?

    [​IMG] [​IMG] Ho by the way it a 7" lead 18 Ga (wire it come with is 7" only in 18Ga) Oh you can get a used one at any wreck yard that will let you cut the wire for the Connector off the years car motors listed.

    As you don't say where you're from , it makes it harder to help out here but , many partshaus' carry Standard Ignition Products (brand name here) , so just search until you find one that does in your town and have them order it up by the part number given .

    Example : in L.A. , Ca. , Warren Distributors , but then , they're a jobber so maybe won't sell to walk in trade , I dunno .
