I didn't want to put up a personally directed post, but I'm getting anxious to buy a hood. The one I was looking at was in a yard with dogs, so I couldn't get to talk to the owner right away. I finally did talk to him today because he brought his dogs inside the house. He told me that the truck belonged to his brother who just moved away and sold the truck, but the owner hadn't picked it up yet. He also told me that the new owner wouldn't want to sell the hood, since that was one of the reasons he bought the truck to begin with. I live in Carson City, Nevada, so I would have to have the hood shipped. Is it in good shape? How much do you want for It? I figure shipping to be about $150. Please let me know! ThanksThanksThanks. --TrustyRusty
i hadn't thought about how much i wanted for it. But it needs a little fixing of rust holes in the front on the side (both). it has a few dings on top but it is very fix able. i can fix either hood i want too. you would have to previde a hood latch. if you want you can check the shipping my zip is 98926. you can email me at phantom329@hotmail.com if you have any more q's i'll give a price then. cowboy
hey trusty have you tried emailing me ? why don't you give me you email and i'll get intouch with you i got a junk maill block so some time i don't get everything. cowboy
Hey cowboy--Sorry Sorry cowboy, but I haven't tried to email you. I've run into some other areas that I have to address first, like my new oil leak. Jeez, I built a brand new engine, and it just started leaking from the REAR CAM PLUG. Oh what a mess. I'll have to pull the engine to fix that one. Also, I have to finish my truck by May as a requirement of my "senior Project" for high school. I have to pick something I'm interested in, do something relating to it and write a paper and give a speech. I'm going to upgrade all of my suspension, lower the truck and finish the body work and get it painted(I'll take any color suggestions). Now, I'm on a schedule. After I pay for my college classes(welding and autobody) i'll see about buying that hood. Sorry again, but poor planning has foiled me once more. I was just looking at the hoods in my leisure, of which I have no more. 60 apache sounded real interested, so make him a deal. I'll get one in due time. . . --TrustyRusty 1965 Short/Step
