Yep, got caught in it and in Monona County, Iowa which the NWS says was the hardest hit of any county in any state. Temp -7, windspeed 56mph, and zero visibility. Guess what; zero visibility means it's impossible to take a picture of a blizzard since up, down, forward, back, and to each side are opaque white. Did get a couple shots the next morning of my BW just outside the window (her husband was smart enough to stay inside) and in the other you can just make out the top of a Ford 4wd pickup that has tall tires.

I was sittin' in a treestand in Putnam county/northern Missouri. The snow wasn't to bad but Sunday and Monday the temp was 5 degrees with a wind chill of -15 was brutal. As much as i hate so-cal its nice to be warm again.Saw a lot of old iron just sitting in fields just rusting away driving up from St Louis.

Zero degrees F in NE Tennessee this morning. I thought I was in the south. Lucky though, just think how cold it would be if we didn't have global warming.

I usually buy one 375 gal tank of propane for the winter and its close but do-able. I am down to 285 gal and we haven't officially hit winter yet! More Global Whining that's what we need.

We better have an unseasonably warm Jan/feb or I'm gonna get hosed by the Propane Baron's if i need fuel in mid-winter.

Those are the rich folks who bail out when the going gets rough .
