I got it from GM. go on the web site www.gmperformanceparts.com go to shop and then to crate engines .I picked the 350/290 hp de luxe .four bolt ,
It comes with three year warranty or 160000 km .
On the web site you can see all the dealer pricing to.check it out,For me it was alot cheaper to buy this engine than buildt me own .

Right on Johan! I would have to agree, 3 yrs ago I built my own mill from an old 350 4-bolt block I had laying around, it was a great experience (my first build) but it was also pretty expensive. my next will be a factory LS motor.

Factory warranty on a 1965!!!! cant beat that.

Installed me crate engine ,I bought the tubelar motor mount from cpp .they didnt work for me the headers where running right in to them. had to go back to the orignal mounts. still waiting for me pulley to show up.
I have to wire the engine yet ,maby in the next couple of weeks i will get that done. also bought a cross flow aluminum radiator for it, have to change the top bracket for it or raise the bottom brackets.

Hello, I am just learning all this, but I am close to ready for my engine and tranny swap. I have a 63 c-10 that had the 250 I-6, 3sp tranny. I have bought a 350sb and a 700r4. I noticed that yall have a similar setup and thought I would take this chance to ask the dumb question... will I need to change motor and trans mounts for this swap? And will the drive shaft need to be cut?
