I have recently become the owner of a 1964 Suburban. After much searching on the internet I've come to find out parts for this vehicle are especially hard to find. Does anyone know of any place that specializes in or offers parts for this truck?

90 % of the parts from trucks will work on your burb. Where you run into problems is with the unique parts like , rear doors, or side sliding window locks. For those you will need to discover the wonderful world of Swap Meets !

Start collecting the parts manuals from suppliers like our hosts here at Chevy Duty. Also, pick up the factory service manual for the 63 and the suppliment for the 64. I've also found that the Factory Assembly Manual is a valuable tool as well.

I know that from the front bumper to just behind the doors is largly the same with trucks of that era (with the exception of the front seat), now what about parts such as weather stripping from that point on back, any body sheet metal, tailights, rear hatch hinges, and any glass for the mid to back section of the vehicle?
