Replaced a longbed fender, 3200, with a short bed fender. Both with cutout.Longbed mount won't work. Will a short bed spare mount work? Anyone got one out there? Thanks for all input.

    spare tire mount

    Maybe a little late
Here is a site that has all the info you need
    http://www.stovebolt.com/techtips/sparetire/mount_fabrication.html

The short bed mount is a lot different from the longbed
Because it goes thru the fender cutout and the angled bar that hold it on the bed is split up.

There for , the longbed mount is simpler to make
You will now what I mean when you see the pics

Do not forget to open the pdf file
It's a great drawing: "How to"

    Best of luck
    Tony

Thanks, I found another long bed fender so am home free. You are correctboth the fenders and the spare mounts are different and only work when combined correctly. I know have a great west coast short bed fender /cutout and a spare long bed I will put up for sale in the spring.
