    hello,
my name is jeremy and i'm new to this forum. i have a 53 5 window 3100 truck that has a 383ci sbc in it. i'm wondering what headers anyone is using that already has a small block swap in the AD trucks. it has a mustang II front end with the steering box inside the frame rails. i'm looking to run a fender well exit header if its possible, if not i guess my only other option is the block hugger which will cause me more problems with the steering shaft. i'm looking for any input or advice and is greatly appreciated. i've always been into muscle cars so i'm new to these trucks as i picked it up from my grandfather as a project he started, now i'm trying to get the truck done before his health gets too bad.

Blockhuggers are the way to go. If you want a fenderwell header, you will probably have to fab them up from tubing or a kit.

sanderson headers makes a set that i think may work and clear my steering stem. they're a lil pricer that most, but i'd rather spend the extra money to save some fabrication time. thanks chebby for the advice!
