HEI DIST

    I HAVE A 1964 CHEVY WITH A 283 I AM PUTTING IN A HEI DIST WHICH WIRE GOES TO THE BATTERY CONNECTION ON THE DIST FROM THE ORIGINAL WIRING OR ANY SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE.

    I have a HEI in my truck and i just put a female plug connector on the hot wire that went to the coil and plug it to the connector that had Bat. over the slot.

    Be sure you remove the resistor wire.The HEI needs 12 volts

    Run a 12 gauge wire from the "BAT" terminal and splice into the PINK wire on the ignition switch. End of story...
