    Question:
Does any one know where the original wires route for the headlight switch? Green? Blue? The three white wires? Red? The two orange wires? And the black wire? Thanks for your help.

I have seen this topic on another site. You will need to tell what year truck you have to get an answer.

    Hi Chris,
This is what I saw when I looked at a 1960 wiring harness.
(starting from the back to the front on the plug)

    First row:
    Red

    Second row:
black, then to the right is a white wire

    Third row:
    orange

    Fourth row:
    light blue

    Fifth row:
green, the to the right is a white wire

Then out of the same strand should be one white wire with a black plug on the end, it goes to the wiper switch.
If you want a pic of the plug to look at email me, and i'll gladly send a pic. :)

i know what color the wires are, I just don't know where each of them go. I know red is probably the power wire, but what about the rest of them. And why would that white wire go to the wiper switch? Also, why is it when you pull the switch fully out to turn on the headlights, the parking lights shut off? And is there more than one power supply for the switch, because the switch shows no power for the dome light or instrument panel.? Thanks for any help.
