Stearing column sqeeking

    I have a sqeeking noise comming from my steering wheel/column and was wondering if its the bearing inside the column thats making the noise and how difficult it is to change any advice greatly appriceated.

    The bearing is an easy replacement. Tie a string to the horn wire before you pull it out to make re wiring easier.

    Thanks ol chebby but can the old bearing be regreased or oiled that would be the easiest fix.

    I have sprayed teflon spray in there to quiet it down for a while.

    Thanks again i put a couple of drops of oil down there and she stopped sqeeking for now.
