Well, it's been about a month or so since I've gotten her back on the road. I drove her from Atlanta to Miami and back to break her in. It was a great trip even though I had it at 3500RPM the entire way (I really need a 700R4). I stripped her completely to the bare frame. She has a brand new suspension with 12" cross drilled rotors and drop spindles, a .040 over 350 4-bolt with a comp cams 270H magnum cam and edelbrock 750 carb. It has a different cab I found that was in MUCH better shape, from a '65, and a decent sound system (though it can be a bit hard to hear over the engine I'm out of money so the body work will have to wait I'm interested to hear what everyone thinks of it. VERY Nice work !! One suggestion. With a 5 inch rear drop, the panhard bar will be running up-hill. And your shocks are out of position to properly handle normal suspension movement. Look into a pan-hard bar that extends from the left frame rail, where it is now, to mount to the right lower control arm just behind the axle tube, instead of the center chunk. Also, some shock relocation kits are available that will put the shocks back to where they are actually doing something. Real fine detail work on the frame, motor, etc etc ! DValentine

Great job...I bet it was fun driving it to Miami and back to Atlanta even with the RPM's. Nothing like seeing a 60's model truck from out of state crusing down the highway. Butch

I still get really good suspension travel. Just the other day I hauled off about 500 pounds worth of stuff to the dump for a friend, it didnt bottom out once. Thanks for the compliment!
