I just purchased a 59 chevy fleetside and I cannot figure out how to fix my tail-light/brake/directional lights on the rear of the truck. All I seem to have is headlights and front directional lights? I will admit that electrical problems are not my area of expertise. Any simple steps I can take to trouble shoot the problem?

Run a ground wire from your bed to the frame, I had the same issue with my truck. Chris

    What Chris Said !

I like to run a ground wire from the taillight's attaching stud to the frame directly as the bed to frame ground path isn't very good .

Don't forget to buy a cheap battery cleaning brush and use it to clean the bulb sockets until they shine again .

For really bright taillights , mask off the housing and spray the inside with gloss white paint , it'll make the whole lens light up evenly .

    DO NOT use silver ! that's a common boo-boo .
