I have asked this question in the 55-59 forum and do appreciate the
response from their but I thought I would ask in this forum to get an
    over all view.
I was thinking of installing a third brake light into the back of my 58 Cameo cab just below the rear window into the sheet metal,I have seen it done but am wondering what it is you maybe have used? or have found that works great to use?I am not affraid to tackle the job but just want to know what worked well and maybe didn't work for you!
    Thanks,Allen

Allot of your streetrod companys sell 3rd brake lights that would install in the rear panel of your truck nicely. Haywire INC> 1-417-623-7239 they should be able to help you out.

    Alan,
    That looks SWEET,
I am building a cameo and the tailights are in that area,BUT
I also have a stepside bed that needs a complete truck for it's
Home, So when I build the stepside I will keep what you did with
    your truck in mind.
    Thanks for the great idea!!!Allen

Oh ... that's right! Cameos aren't the same at all! LOL! But, yes - these will be great for your stepside. I'm really glad I put them in -- they're in an unexpected place, up high where they're more visible. They get a lot of attention when I brake or turn, so they're a very cool added-safety feature.
