Just bought a 65 short bed big back window last week. IT was a one owner truck of 46 years. I got original title and sales contract from the Chevy dealer. 283 three speed on the column.

Is your plan to keep it original and if not what mods do you plan. Photos please.

Just get it running and keep it orignal. The motor was just rebuilt and yet to be started. I redone one about 10 years ago and went with original look but modern drivetrain and air and all that stuff. I will windup selling this one to help on my 1970 Trans Am I am restoring. I hope to get it running it hit some shows and cruise ins with it.

I will post some in the next day or two. I have been driving it and getting some of the bugs out of it. Been breaking in the motor and seeing what I need to do to it before I try to sale it.

That "underhood" photo shocked me after seeing the rest of the truck. It will be a beauty of a ride if the rest of the truck gets the same treatment...

(I assume you did the freshenin up under the hood? nice job:cool:)

The guy I got it from had the orignal motor rebuilt with all new pistons bearings, heads redone, etc. he spent alot of money to get it running again. He was just going to drive it but needed to sale it so I bought it and finished it and have done alot to it. I have about got everthing working on it. The truck really drives good and shifts good.
