I had to swap my 235 (bad cam) out with another from a passenger car:(. My flywheel was bad so used the car flywheel, but with that, I needed to keep the car clutch and pressure plate (smaller size).

It all fit into the Truck bellhousing fine:p, I've got some concerns about using the truck arm and throw-out bearing. Am I OK doing this, or am I looking for trouble. Its going to be a bear to adjust for sure. Has anyone done this?

BTW, I now have a Muncie 3 speed Overdrive Tranny for sale that was on this. Also a NOS Stainless OD cable.

I have a 235 from a car also and use my old clutch from my 216 out of my truck. ...and all fits perfect.

Do you have a Muncie with OD??? for sale. Please send me a PM with price. I have a SM420 but not so happy and think with an OD i can better work.

fully syncron?? and for closed drive shaft??

Volker, I have it advertised on here in the PArts for Sale section. I also have a Stainless NOS cable with Overdrive stamped on it. I will post pictures if you want.

    yes yes yes

:D Yes hold the tranny tight for me.
i paid the same price for my SM420 and i think yours is better for my truck.
With OD and a 3:55 rear end i can fly over the highway :D
Could you send me all pics at my mailadress?

I need the measurement and weigth for asking my shipping company. And could you ask a local shipper what he want for shipping to Germany. The ZIP is 04688, Town Mutzschen (near Leipzig)

I have a 235 from 1954 and think your tranny fits perfect behind the engine. Open or closed driveline? If open i have to work on my rear axle to convert to open line but think it's easy. i read at the internet about this and will talk with my mechanic.

I think Evan said that the OD gives the equivalent to 2.21 rearend, not sure with a 3.55 even lower I suppose. I sent pics to your PM.
