Has anybody seen the new newest (September) issue of Classic Trucks? In it there is an article about converting small back window trucks to the coveted big window(originally just a $34 option). It doesn't look too hard, but then again. . . I was wondering if anybody has tried this on his/her truck or had some opinion on the matter. I can weld and sling filler pretty well, but I'm leery about slicing on my cab for fear that I'll accidentally turn it into a convertible. If I really want the big window cab, should I just go find one? Any ideas? Experience? --Russell:7 :7
My 2 cents. Just go find one. That conversion was done by "craftsmen" in a full equipted shop. Dennis
