Anyone know where I can pick up a quality Da Sander. I am just starting to strip my 65 C10. Also I know it has been asked numerous times but any tips on stripping would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Mine just came from Lowe's. It cost about $50. It works fine for me. The cheap ones they sell at Harbor Freight which are made by Advantage also work well and cost about half as much. These sanders never really wear out, just the pad that holds the paper(replacements available), so the cheap one should work okay. Make sure you have a HUGE compressor(duh)and a good dust mask. Good luck! Oh yeah, if you want the undercaoting off the back off everything, like fenders, burn it with a propane torch and scrape it with a paint scraper. --Messy, but it works and you get to play with fire!

Lowe's is a great source for all kinds of stuff you need. I have
purchased alot of stuff from Wally World. The Campbell-Hausfeld stuff
isn't the greatest in the world, but most of it is made in the USofA
and the prices are decent. I haven't been disappointed with any of
their tools so far. I haven't done any sanding/stripping yet so I
have nothing else to offer. Good luck.
