What color were the rear bumper brackets and pans painted? Were they the bumper color (white), or the body color? Thanks!
Bumper Brackets Thanks for your reply. Black they are then. Do the pans on top of the rear bumber brackets "show"? Too long ago since I took it all apart!
The painted rear sport bumpers were off-white or ivory. The step bumpers, commonly installed at the dealership, were normally white or silver. The gravel guards, commonly found on trucks with the sport bumper option, were painted the primary body color on single-tone & 2-tone trucks.
Sport bumper? Tony, is the "Sport" bumper the stock bumper that comes with the trucks, or a special order? Thanks.
Bumpers were not standard equipment, so a bumper would not have been stock, regardless of the style. The commonly referred to "Sport" bumper, is the rounded, smooth style with the center-drop, for the license plate bracket. Step-style bumpers were rather common, and were commonly stamped with the dealership's name and sometimes the City & State.
