numbers

    ok i got my 454 block today or so it was told it was 454. i knwo its a bbc. Can anyone tell me about the bock, crank, or heads? well the back of the block behind the drives side head # is 3999289. on the back of the block is says hi per pass and below that is says F8. on the crank the # is 9N and C244 i couldn't read teh other number. on one head it says it is a truck head and the #'s are 3933148, GM4T, on the bottom it says MTRUCK,148,4. One the other head the #'s are GMOT or GM0T,336781,28 74,on the back it says pass,781,and 10. if anyone can tell me anything or anywhere to find about the numbers it woudl be greatly appreiciated.

    3999289....454.......72-79...2 or 4 bolt, some "CE" replacement blocks had four bolt main caps

    Heads
    3933148....69-84...oval...OPEN...'69 396/265hp, 366T, 427T, 112cc chamber

    thanks for the help dennis. but only one head had the casting number 3933148 the other head had 336781. but thanks again for the help.
    i'm going to go talk to the guy to see if i can get the other matching head for either head.
